About the product
Canola meal is the by-product remaining after oil extraction from canola seed. Although its protein level sits below soybean meal, its amino acid balance, particularly methionine content, makes it a strong complement in the ration.
Because glucosinolate levels have been reduced in bred canola varieties, palatability and digestibility problems have largely disappeared. It is used with confidence in dairy and fattening rations.
