The reference protein source of the feed industry, unmatched in amino acid balance.
Soybean meal is the by-product remaining after oil is extracted from soybeans, and it is the first raw material that comes to mind when protein is mentioned in compound feed. Its amino acid profile, led by lysine and methionine, is the closest to the animal's requirement among plant proteins.
It trades in two main classes on the market, the 44% and the 46–48% protein groups; dehulled product carries higher protein and lower fibre. It is particularly preferred in poultry and young animal feeding.
Poultry, cattle and sheep compound feed, aquaculture feed.
